A beautiful period house in a desirable Cotswold village
Glebe House is a handsome Cotswold stone house situated in one of the most charming and desirable villages in the south of the Cotswolds. Lying behind Cotswold stone walls, the house is privately set within its own delightful gardens and grounds.
The ground floor offers generous reception rooms comprising an entrance hall with staircase rising to first floor landing and doors to a dining room and study with windows overlooking the gardens to the front and rear of the property. The kitchen / breakfast room, is a superb space for relaxed family living overlooking the delightful gardens. The dual aspect sitting room is charming and benefits from an open fire. There is a utility room/cloakroom located on the ground floor.
On the first floor a landing leads to an impressive principal bedroom suite with views over the gardens and an en-suite bathroom. A further two bedrooms lead off the landing as well as a family bathroom.
Glebe House is approached along the village lane which leads onto a gravelled private drive with ample parking for numerous cars. Located to the side of the house is a detached outbuilding which would be suitable for a variety of uses such as a home office.
The gardens have been very well designed throughout, with care and attention lavished upon them over the years, to provide wonderful colour and splendour.
The interestingly and well stocked borders contrast well with the different areas of the gardens. There is a delightful private south facing stone terrace, and is ideal for outside entertaining.
