Tucked away in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty lies the village of Chilton. An attractive village surrounded by pretty Oxfordshire countryside. What you might not know is that the prehistoric Ridgeway National Trail passes south of the village, which is an ancient trackway described as Britain's oldest road. Find yourself whiling away the hours walking along the escarpment edge, with immense views to the north across the Vale of the White Horse, while to the south there is stunning rolling countryside.

Whilst at the foot of the Downs and some of the most enchanting countryside in southern England, the railway town of Didcot is close by and offers a range of amenities, as well as a fast rail link to London, with the fastest trains reaching London Paddington from as little as 37 minutes. Additionally, Crossrail now makes for a much faster commute to the City.
